John & Sue Worwood once again entertained a dozen or so members at their home on 14th April for the 2nd Quarterly Meeting of the membership (now at 24 full members). Minutes will be available in due course, but the main discussions were on the road resurfacing tender responses, drainage issues and other topics to be raised at the meeting with Mainstay and Calthorpe on 28th April. Sue Worwood described her plans for the Big Lunch event on 7th June 2015; her recent email gives more detail.

John & Sue Worwood entertained a dozen or so members at their home on 28th March. This was a nice opportunity to get to know one-another and was much appreciated. The mailing of owners with letters and membership application forms has been very successful - we now have 21 owners signed up! We just need 3 more to reach the 60% of properties needed for the CHRA formally to represent residents in negotiaitons with Mainstay / Calthorpe. We hope to achieve this by our quarterly meeting on 14th April. The venue and agenda for this will be circulated very soon.

John & Sue Worwood and Jonathan Middle attended the inaugural CRS Forum for CERAs at Walker's Hall. Some very useful contacts were made with representatives of other parts of the Estate with simiular issues and concerns as we have in Chancellors Hall. The Forum is poised to go forward now with proposals for drawing together information and guidance for emerging RAs in their objectives to get high quality, value for money services from Mainstay and Calthorpe Estate.

A 'walk-around' Chancellors Hall boundary was undertaken today by Jonathan Middle & John Worwood from CHRA and Sarah Hammond & Anthony McDonagh from Mainstay, to identify the assets for which CH owners are responsible under the service charge.

Contact has been made with the Calthorpe Residents Society with a view to engaging with them and other CE RA's, and attending their proposed RA Forum next February. A welcoming response has been received which augurs well for the future.
