VA Challenger -Alternative HS Completion Program

CCYA is a premier, quasi-military style environment. CCYA is not just for academics (credit recovery and GED). Students MUST work on all eight (8) of CCYA’s Core Components. In addition to academics, our Core Components include service to community, life coping skills, leadership/followership, job skills, responsible citizenship, health/hygiene and physical fitness.

• 18 year old students will be registered to vote, as well as register for Selective Service

• All students perform a minimum of 40 hours of community service

• Driver’s Education classes are available

All of this is at no cost to the student or parents. Our highly structured educational and mentoring program is available to Virginia youth who are 16-18 years old, a U.S. Citizen or legal resident, volunteer to participate in the program and do not have any pending felony charges or convictions.
