Membership

The Clark County Historical Society was founded in 1966, with Dr. George Mitchell as the first President.

Meetings : Special interest meetings are open to the public and are held at various times and locations.

Projects : An ice cream social, a cornbread and beans dinner, pioneer activity demonstrations, and school or  group tours are held throughout the year.

Donations: Individuals who would like to donate Clark County items to the museum should contact any member of the museum board. Cash donations are, of course, always needed for acquisitions and maintenance.

Membership: Anyone interested in learning about our county history and the preservation of county artifacts is invited to join the Clark County Historical Society. Dues are $20.00 per person per year. Volunteer workers are always welcome.

Download an informational brochure here.

Dues may be sent to Clark County Historical Society, PO BOX 207, Marshall, IL 62441, dropped off at Marshall Public Library, or paid at the annual Ice Cream Social.
