* The funds we raise in August and September will towards compensation for our amazing coaches. While we still depend on our parent rider leaders and other volunteers, we also recognize the impact that experienced, certified mountain bike coaches can have on our kids. To be one of the best biking teams in Colorado, first we want to keep our athletes safe on the trail, second we want to unlock our athletes' potential, and third, we want to attract and retain girl athletes. Our strategy to achieve these three key outcomes is to invest in professional coaching, including a paid woman coach, throughout the season. We have found amazing coaches in Torrey, Bart, and Cooper who possess all of the qualifications we could hope for. One of the primary ways to reward and retain these talented coaches is to compensate them for their contributions to our team.
