After losing Lucky and Autumn during the Fall of 2020, I started looking for a bonded pair to partially fill the hole left by them. In late February, my favorite rescue group - Partnership for Animal Welfare https://paw-rescue.org - sent out a newsletter that included these two cuties. They had been found in a feral colony, and sent to a rural shelter in Virgina. Thanks to their partnershp with PAW, transport would be available if a suitable adoptor was found.
I immediately put in an application, a Zoom visit was arranged, we were approved, and they came to live with us a week after I filed the application.
While they are still adjusting, they are getting sweeter and livelier every day. Lollypop has a major crush on them, and they have him firmly wrapped around their dainty little paws.
They are so tiny - just over six pounds each - that I call them our mini-cats.
More than a year later, they have gotten larger, but are still on the small side. Tightly bonded with Lollypop, the three are frequently found in a cuddle-pile. Lilac is expecially fond of being petted in Officially Approved Spots™, and collects a toll whenever one of us walks past one.
