WHY one should support CSA, Incorporated?
ABAG ESKUYLA PROGRAM: At present the group has 6 major projects under this Program, 5 are ongoing projects and 1 is under development. This is a year-round program. Below are the six (6) major sections, namely:
A. Abag PAGSANGKAP sa Tulunghaan (School Supplies Project) Project – Tools for Success. We know some families in our Hometown have difficulty sending their children to school, much more with adequate school supplies. Through this project we provide education essentials like pencils, crayons, and other supplies donated by people and groups who look forward of helping these kids to have more access for a brighter future. We distributes donated school supplies at the beginning of the school year and year-round to low income families in the community of Catmon, Cebu.
B. Abag BUSOG sa Kanunay (Feeding Project) Project – We are trying to visit all schools in our municipality within a year, and in every visit we integrated our feeding project as part of the Abag Eskuyla Program along with two others, the Tsenilas and Botas Projects. For now, due to limited funding we can only feed the kids during our Abag Eskuyla sorties, this is not an everyday activity. However, we are praying that we can do more to provide these kids with nutritional foods as often as possible.
C. Abag TSENILAS sa Kabataan (Slippers Project) Project – Most students in our municipality belong to a poor family, families living below poverty line and can hardly afford the basic necessities of life existence. Everyday they go to school with barefoot, though they are used to this lifestyle, CSA, Inc. through the request of some of the teachers and parents were providing these children with slippers and will continue to do so if we can.
D. Abag BOTAS sa Magtutudlo (Rain Boots Project) Project – Some Teachers serving Schools located in the mountain baranggays were recipients of a new rain boots. It is our mission to provide all Teachers within a year. Rain Boots will be used during rainy days were mud and or wet dirt is common in non-concreted walkways of an underdeveloped school premises.
E. Abag PASKO Sa Kabataan (Christmas for School Kids Project) Project - a yearly Christmas Activity for Catmon School Students mainly focused to show off their talents, skills, and interests, and also serves as awareness activity of our culture, the environment, and other prevalent matters that we may find will serve the purpose of helping our community.
F. Abag ARKIBO Edukasyon (Archive for Education Project) Project - A storage for donated old school materials, such as old school books, old calculators, old t-squares, old school uniforms, etc., which can still be useful to junior students.
ABAG KINABUHIAN PROGRAM (Livelihood & Sustainability Program) - Hope for Tomorrow. CSA, Inc. is aiming to provide training in viable skills for young people and the jobless. Classes in woodworking, sewing, mechanics, handicrafts, clothing repair, home building, driving, etc.. These skills provide income and self-reliance, allowing the needy to thrive and even help others.
