Contest Rules & Guidelines:

· The CSAI’s Halloween SPOOKtacular Costume Contest is open to anyone, no matter what age you are or where you live.

· Your COSTUME must be HOME MADE. We are looking for YOUR work and creativity. Costumes purchased or rented do not qualify. There are exceptions to the "purchased or rented" policy; for instance, if only one or two minor components of the costume were purchased. Exceptions in this case will be at the discretion of the judging team.

· It’s a family costume contest. Keep it fun.

· Judges for the Halloween Costume Contest are not eligible for the Costume Contest.

- Those who wish to participate please see the registrant's table and submit your name.

· All entrants will have a chance to parade across the stage, have their name, and costume name announced. 

· You will need to remain throughout the Costume Contest to be eligible for an award.

Judging Criteria:

Creativity                    :   25%

Originality                   :   25%

Effort                          :   25%

Audience Impact        :   25%

Total                            : 100% 

 IMPORTANT LEGAL INFORMATION:

· The judges shall have the sole authority and discretion to select the winners based on the criteria.

· Minors (those under 13 years of age) must have permission from a legal guardian to participate.

· By registering, all participants in Halloween SPOOKtacular Costume Contest must agree to let the CSAI  to use their images for promotional purposes, both photographs and video.

· Each entrant shall indemnify, defend, and hold the CSAI harmless from any third

party claim arising from or related to that entrant's participation in the contest. In no event shall the CSAI be liable to an entrant for acts or omissions arising out of or related to the contest or that entrant's participation in the contest.

Panel of Judges:

As for the Contests, we have a panel of judges. These individuals have agreed to donate their time and energy to help us make this an exciting experience! They have forfeited the opportunity to compete so please join us in giving them a great big Thank-You!
