Your C.Y.R.O. Coordinator

I grew up in Great Falls Montana and was raised in the Catholic faith by my two amazing parents along with two older brothers and an older sister. My family has been instrumental in helping me become the Catholic man I am today. They have continuously encouraged and helped me in understanding the beauty and joy of living a life for Christ and for others. Their constant witness of faith and love, as well as their desire to serve God and others, has greatly contributed to my desire to serve God and others, particularly young people.

I attended Carroll College, graduating with a Biology degree in the spring of 2014. Carroll helped me grow tremendously in my faith through retreats, searches, a deeper understanding of the sacraments, and spiritual guidance from people such as Fr. Marc, Dan Thies and the rest of the Carroll faith community. At Carroll I discovered my truest identity as a beloved son of our Lord and the great invitation to live a life through, with, and in Him. In my time at Carroll I learned and experienced the joy and necessity to receive the love of Christ, but to then give it away to others in real, concrete ways. I was blessed to be a counselor at Legendary Lodge during three of my summers in college. At the lodge I fell in love with serving the young people of this diocese, walking with them and helping them grow in their faith and love for Christ. Upon graduating the Lord called me to continue serving the youth of this diocese as the C.Y.R.O. Coordinator. I am currently serving in my 6th year as coordinator, and am blessed to be married with a 16 month old daughter, Silvia.

I feel extremely grateful and humbled by the opportunity to be a part of C.Y.R.O. and the faith community in the Flathead Valley. The people are so generous, welcoming, and open to what God wants to give. I am very excited for the coming year and seeing where the Lord leads us. Between the weekly bible studies, youth group nights, retreats, and time of fellowship, I trust that the Lord will move in beautiful and new ways. I am excited for this upcoming year and all the events that are in store as we continue to walk the path Christ has laid out for us.
