Hurrah! for the magnificent Casavant that I have just played here. How I regret not knowing the great artist who created this harmony! I send him all my warmest congratulations, as well as to the dear engineer whom I know and who has created a marvel.
On the 19th of August [I play] at Victoria Hall in Montreal.
Long live the brothers Casavant!!!

Hourra! Pour le magnifique Casavant que je viens de jouer ici. Comme je regrette de ne pas connaître le grand artiste qui a fait cette harmonie! Je lui envoie toutes mes plus chaudes félicitations ainsi qu’au cher mécanicien que je connais - lui - et qui a réalisé là une merveille.
Le 19 août concert à Victoria Hall à Montréal.

The Methodist Church Choir in a photo from the nineteen tens. The original terraced console, in the French style, is the one Louis Vierne would have played. The console is dark oak with stop jambs of mahogany.
