Caro's Crazy Critters Disclaimer:

We advise anyone who invites us to their place or who visits us on site to be aware that although our animals are friendly, and used to being handled by children all animals are capable of having bad manners at times.

Possible hazards may include but are not restricted to:

  • biting or nipping or pecking of fingers

  • falling off the horse on the pony ride

  • Damage to lawn via way of animals pooh/ eating lawn or animals movements/ the animals pens pegs leave small holes where affixed to ground.

  • Damage to lawn from ute/float

  • Scratches

  • feet being stood on

  • slipping over

  • slipping while getting on/off gig

  • getting animal poo on hands/feet/clothing

  • adults banging head on gazebo roof

Therefore we advise you that we have certain rules to be followed around our animals, and take no responsibility or liability for any possible injuries or damage that may occur.

If children are not following safety rules or are mistreating animals in any way they will be asked to leave or the parent/caregiver will be asked to remove the child, if mistreatment or non compliance of the safety rules continues the animals will be removed and Crazy critters will pack up for the day. There is no refund in this instance. We must respect the animals welfare.

Please be aware adults are expected to help supervise their children around the animals and follow staff requests.

We require $35 non refundable deposit at time of booking and outstanding money paid in full before the date of event. In event of us cancelling (lame/sick animals, weather etc) you will get full refund or offered another date, in event of yourself cancelling we refund minus the deposit. Terms of Trade for Caro’s Crazy Critters Mobile Farm:

As a service based business our terms of trade for service are as follows:

· We require $35 non refundable deposit at the time of booking to confirm your date and time. Booking only becomes confirmed with the paid deposit. . (Caros Crazy Critters 02-0332-0026768-001)

· All outstanding money/ costs are to be paid in full no later than 24hrs before date of your event or we do not travel.

· Cost of your event will have been discussed and a quote or invoice given at time of booking.

· For the per head $ for any extras this can be sorted on day in cash by prior arrangement.

· In the event of us cancelling (lame/sick animals, weather etc) you will get a full refund or offered another date, in event of yourself cancelling we refund minus the deposit. IF we have already left home then it is a 50% refund only

· ANY bookings made for December, as it’s our busiest month with Christmas bookings as well as birthdays etc, incur an extra cancellation fee of $20 if cancelled by yourself after the 1st November. Making a cancelled December party/event cost of $55. If cancelled on the day due to bad weather, paid as in above statements.

· Any party that has booked, then changed their date, then cancels booking will be liable for no more than a 50% refund due to our lose of income from other possible parties for dates prebooked and cancelled.

· If No full payment paid and shown in our account on date of your event then we do not commence travel to your venue.

· Please notify us no later than 7.00am on your booking day if you wish to cancel or postpone due to weather, this is at no charge. However contacting us any later than this and we will already be loading or travelling (and you will be charged a 50%of booking cost cancellation fee to cover staff wages) and the non refundable deposit!!!!

· Payments are to be made by internet banking or over the counter at BNZ using your name and event date as reference.

· We will only except a cheque on the day by prior arrangement for schools and ECE services. This will need to include a cheque handling fee of $0.70 and be made out to “Caroline Jones” All private bookings are to be prepaid.

· Both the disclaimer form and terms of trade must be filled in and signed before we can set up for your event by the event organiser/hirer. No forms signed and returned then we cannot set up for your event.

· Bookings are made by either on line email enquires or via phone.

· The ponies if booked must have a set clear space to operate in safely away from traffic/roads etc.

· We need easy access to the property where the event is to be set up for a ute and a trailer/horse float. If we need to carry items of our heavy equipment/pens etc it adds to our set up/clean up times and may endure an extra charge for our time of $20

· The pens ideally need grass to be set up on, not a driveway or concrete pad. And reasonably flat.

· Crazy Critters take no responsibility or liability for any possible injuries or damage that may occur , while providing our service. We do take as many safety pre cautions as we see appropriate.

· Children will be given a warning if they are seen to be mistreating our animals in any way. If the or behaviour continues they will be removed from the pens for 5 minutes to calm down and think. On returning if they continue to mistreat the animals they will be removed for the rest of the event.

· If several children are not following safety rules or are mistreating animals in any way they will be asked to leave or the parent/caregiver will be asked to remove the child, if mistreatment or non compliance of the safety rules continues the animals will be removed and Crazy critters will pack up for the day. There is no refund in this instance. We must respect the animals welfare

· Caro’s Crazy Critters Mobile Farm will not be liable for any loss suffered by the customer as a result of the cancellation of the agreement or any Breach within this agreement.
