NOTE: please let us know if your party is going to be bigger than the children limit allowed for your booking!! as if it gets too big we may need extra staff and extra animals.at cost... Our animals well-being is paramount!

From 2021 we will be running all parties in Northland at the same cost,( which includes the first 100km ) a mileage fee of 52c per km., is added after this based on google maps and your address provided!
Therefore for a full quote we will need address at time of enquiry or booking!!
IF you do not have room at your place, or just want to bring your event rural to have that something special to give your child for there party, you can by arrangement bring your party children out to our farm, and we can set it up under the trees for you just like we would if we went out.

BASE RATE CHARGE then all parties will be charged mileage at 52c (gst included) per km once we reach 80 km on any tripout!

we offer both cart harness ponies or small miniature ride on ponies!!
as per terms of trade - easy access close to the grass area is needed (or we charge a lifting/carrying fee of $30)
NOTE: as of now, any extras on top of the allowed numbers for each party MUST be pre-booked and paid for within the invoicing. Any party with more than 30 children will be expected to pay for a 2nd pony and extra animals and extra staff member for the well being of our staff and animals.
NOTE: we are not a babysitting service therefore extra adult supervision/interaction is required - otherwise we need to organize extra staffing at your expense!!!

UMAWERA COME TO US PONY PAL BIRTHDAY;
MIMIMUM OF 2 CHILDREN MAXIMUM OF 6 FOR 2 HRS
A ride on cart and on a pony each child - grooming ponies, leading and playing games with the ponies on the lead - 2 children to a pony for larger groups. 1 adult must stay with party group if more then 2 children.

Galas / Fundraisers/fun days/promotions/motorcamps etc: Between Whangarei / Dargaville and Kaitaia
( this just covers our running costs of: staff working the pens/ponies, set up/clean up, travel costs of 1st 80km then charged mileage .52c per km (gst included) etc)
****Other areas further south of Waipu/Mangaturoto WILL incur a set mileage fee of $250 (up to 500km round trip / it's at an extra .80c per km once we hit 450km There is also an extra $50 per hr added fee for farm / $70 per hr with 1 pony / and $100 fee if 2 ponies (to help cover travel cost extra days wages)(minimum booking 6 hrs - Auckland and south) and over night allowance fee $150 per night. (as your 1 day booking means staff and animals are away for 3 days due to travel setup/clean up etc) - you will also need ot have free camping and availability to house the larger animals over night
NOTE ALL BOOKINGS: if your event is going to be huge, expecting more than 300 children throughout event! you have the option to provide a volunteer helper or 2, to help keep our animal's safe to help provide supervision alongside our staff, OR pay for us our set fee $30 per hr extra so we can provide an extra staff.
**for those paying us to be there then charging a fee on entry - this is your responsibility to staff the money and set the rules of the day in regards to 1 off entry or return passes.

SCHOOL VISITS: (Friday school term)

$8.50 between 55 - 80 children and full mileage charge. (minimum number 55 children) (1/2hr per class timeslot)
$8 per child if bewteen 81 - 105 students. (term time school hours only) Minimum 75 children
$7 per child if more than 106 students. (we can put through 9 classes in a day at 1/2hr time slots.) (term time school hours only)
OR a set charge for 1x pony and petting farm (2 hrs) $435 plus gst $65.25 TOTAL: $500.25 (term time and school hours only) plus mileage at .52 km after first 100km traveled.
Pony rides/ pony adventures: (all prices excluding gst)
You will need to travel to Umawera farm.
FOR the slightly more confident children: learn to catch, groom, saddle, ride and all aspects of how to respect and care for your pony.
45 min to 1hr lesson all up - $30 per child
pony play sessions 2hrs $45
$5 lead rein rides - 5- 10 min
Visiting us at Umawera: private family visits/functions etc (bookings in advance a must as this is only done only when no travel bookings- they take priority) The set up charge is now $200 per family/group sorry due to the staffing and time involved!
we can by arrangement set up the mobile farm on our property for your own personal experience/ playgroup/ family visit etc group to come out to us, set up charge of $200 to do this allows up to 16 people for up to 2hrs - -if your group is more than 16 , it's then $10 per extra child and $5 per adult on top of the fee - includes 1x cart OR 1x ride pony ride for each child. only
Farm Tour only - no setting up of petting pens (usally takes about an hour)
$10 per person!!! - , 1x pony ride OR 1x gig ride per child ! minimum charge of $50 per visit due to the time we spend with you showing you around. (we DO NOT set up the petting pens for this option
bring out your morning tea or lunch and enjoy the rural setting and shade of the trees while you eat.
Note no public toilets available!!!
CHRISTMAS FUCTIONS: ECE, schools, rest homes , special group parties. etc. November and December
