About Me

My name is Carlee Oliver. I became interested in speech language pathology as a career when I was 14 years old when I volunteered and worked with families who had children on the Autism Spectrum. I'm passionate about working with children and serving families of children with communication delays. I can't imagine doing anything else. I attended Portland State University where I received my B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences. After graduating from Portland State in June 2006 I was accepted to Western Washington University where I would spend the next two years working on my M.A. in Communication Disorders. I graduated with my M.A. from WWU in June 2008. I had worked in the Edmonds School District from 2008-2014 and in the Puyallup School District since Aug 2014. I love my job and I love the students I work with. They bring joy to my life and I just love to see the pride in their faces as they achieve success in my office. I am very blessed to be doing something I enjoy.
