The third annual Cape Cod Frozen Fat Ass 50k was held on Saturday, January 31st. The starter whistle blew at 7:00am and 24 runners headed west along the beach into 20 mph winds and a balmy 18 degrees. As the day progressed, the temperature went up to the mid twenties and the winds increased to 25-25mph.

The 15.5 mile course took the runners along the beach through marsh trails and dunes and back to the beach before arriving at the race HQ in the parking lot. Some runners did one lap for 25k, and some went out again for the 50k.
