This group consists of predominantly 9th and 10th graders. This group is focused on preparing repertoire for our Winter and Spring Large Ensemble concerts. This group is also used as a space to develop technique and certain skills to achieve in a large group setting.
This group is made up of predominantly upperclassmen. This group is for students to develop extended technique as the group plays challenging and diverse repertoire. Students in this group are also expected to perform in events outside of our Winter and Spring Concerts.
This group is audition-based which takes place annually in the Spring.
Proper Maintenance Equipment for your specific instrument, including cork grease. Attached below are cleaning kits, which you can also order individual parts of as needed.
A Supply of Reeds and a case to store them in.
Single Reeds - Students should have 4-5 working reeds in a case to interchange.
Double Reeds - Students should have 2-3 working reeds in a case.

As a Music Program, our goal is to provide an environment that develops a students abilities both as a member of a Large Ensemble and as an individual musician. We encourage any student interested to audition for the Sussex County and Delaware All-State Groups.
