Percussion Ensemble

We provide a percussion course for our incoming 9th grade percussionists and anyone else who would like to join! The course is a prerequisite for participation in Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble for Cape Percussionists. Students get small-group, immersed instruction in each of the varying instruments in the percussion section. This class better prepares students for future years in percussion.

Cape's Percussion Pre-pack

We use Steve Wiess as our percussion shop, where we have all materials we ask your student to have. This builds overtime starting in elementary school, but you are welcome to purchase any of it at any time.

In addition we highly encourage participation in our general music course offerings at Cape High. Those courses include: AP Music Theory, Music Technology, Voice, Beginning Piano, Beginning Guitar
