One of the great benefits of being involved with a community garden association is the large number of experience gardeners who love sharing their knowledge, extra starts or spare seeds. We have several members who have gardened so long they were involved when the Garden was first started.

The Campus Roots Community Garden provides water to each plot. A soaker hose is provided at the start of the season to allow for wise watering on only the plots and not the pathways. Tools are also available for gardeners to use during the gardening season.

During the Spring through Fall gardening months, we will be posting notices for:

  • Work party schedules

  • Open house and other gardening member activities.

  • Alerts to disease and pest problems when they arise, and how to deal with them.
