11. David Camblin was born after 1770 in Ireland, a son of Joseph Camblin and his wife, Elendor Evans.(2,1)

David married Sidney Evans in Pennsylvania or Virginia. He died after 1830.

George Camblin was born 9 Apr 1780 (calc) in Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph Camblin and wife, Elendor Evans.(3,4,1,7) (A different tombstone reading gives a different birth date for George, (calc) 9 Apr 1774.)(3) George Camblin married Eleanor Llewellyn.(2,1) She was born 16 April 16, 1786 (calc) in Pennsylvania.(3,4) Her parents were Phillip Llewellyn and his wife, Ellen Dodd.(1,7) Mrs. Eleanor Camblin died 18 Feb 1859; George died 15 Aug 1861, and they were buried at Beach Grove Cemetery in rural Butler Township, Darke County, Ohio.(3) The birth order of their eight children is uncertain:(2,1)

Tuesday, August 20th 1861

George Camblin's Will.

Be it Remembered that on this, the twentieth day of August A.D. 1861, a writing was produced before the Probate Court of Darke county Ohio, purporting to be the last will and testament of George Camblin late of said county deceased, and Christian Good and Joseph Myres, the subscribing witnesses to the said last will and testament appeared in open court and each an oath testified to the due execution and attestation of the said will, and their testimony reduced to writing and by them respectively subscribed is annexed to and filed with said will - and it appearing to the court that said will was duly executed and attested and that at the time of executing the same, said Testator was of full age, of sound mind and memory, and under no apparent restraint. It is therefore by the court ordered, that said will be &, is by the court admitted to probate: and it is ordered that the same together with the testimony of the subscribing witnesses thereto, be recorded in the Records of ___ wills in this court. And the said will and testimony are in the following words and figures, to wit: " I George Camblin of the County of Darke in the State of Ohio, do make and publish this, my last will and testament in the manner and form following - First. It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my Just debts be fully paid. Second. I give devise and bequeath by my wife Eleanor's last request to Levina Whitenack one Bedstead and Bedding two small Brass Kettles one sett of Brass Ladles, and three Winsor chairs for her services during her Mother's last illness, and also for her to have her Mothers clothing and dispose of them after my death equally between herself and her three sisters if it is their desire if not the said Levina Whitenack to do with them as she thinks proper. Third. It is my will that all my personal property be made Sale off and the proceeds therefrom be equally divided. Fourth. I give devise and bequeath to Cephas D., Aaron S., and George L. Camblin, Sarah Lavine, Anna and Mary E., my lawful heirs each an equal portion, after the first and Second articles in this instrument of writing be fulfiled-

And Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint David Griffith Junr to be my Executor for this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. George Camblin

Personally came into open court, Christian Good and Joseph Myres subscribing witnesses to the last will and testament of George Camblin, late of said County deceased, who being duly sworn, depose and say that they were present at the execution of the will_ that they saw the Testator sign and heard him acknowledge the same as his last will and testament, and that at the time of executing the same said Testator was of full age, of sound mind and memory, and not under any apparent restraint to their knowledge and belief.
