Visits from Lannion and Ploubezre are normally arranged every two years.
A typical visit will take place over a summer weekend, with the visitors travelling by coach and ferry to arrive on Thursday or Friday and departing on Monday or Tuesday.
Visitors stay with local hosts; members of the Twinning Association.
Hosts are required to provide meals and accomodation for one or more visitors.
A typical itinerary will include:
2 full day trips for the visitors to local places of interest, escorted by representatives from the twinning committee.
1 day for the visitors to stay with the hosts; an opportunity to show them your favourite local places.
One or two social evenings including all visitors and hosts, with the main event normally held in the Great Hall of Caerphilly Castle.
See the subpages for details of previous and forthcoming visits.
