At what age did you start playing golf?  23.  After we were married we used some of our wedding money and went to K-Mart and purchased my first set of clubs.

Where did you live prior to moving to Bella Vista?  Cedar Rapids, IA for 30 years.

Where did you grow up?  RR#2 Duncombe, IA on a farm 7 miles east of Fort Dodge, IA.

Where else have you lived?    Dubuque, IA where I received my BA Degree and met Ron

Hobbies?  Big time runner.  Best in age category on the road race circuit in the state of IA.  Ran Boston Marathon in April 1981 with a time of 3:11.  I am a registered athlete after qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 1981.  Marathon is 26miles and 385 yards.  My running career ended with 2 back surgeries in 1998 and 1999.  My daily workout schedule, unless golf is too early consists of 7.5 miles on the elliptical, golf exercises, hanging on inversion table and back exercises.

Former Jobs? Reading/writing specialist with 33 years in my career.  Concentrated on 9-10 year olds who had not learned to read by conventional methods.  Also conducted seminars for teachers to teach reading and witing at the district, state and national level.  Besides that I owned and opened a Laundromat at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids in December 1981.  Sold it in June 1997 just before we move to our house in BV.  Got a stain problem, just ask me. 

What else would you like people to know about you?  I am at the golf course to make friends and have fun.  I love meeting new players.  I have played in every flight in the WGC except the E flight because they didn't have that flight when I joined.
