There are dozens of small Hairstreaks. They have tails and are usually fairly sedentary, so hard to find. Many have similar field marks. I've included undocumented species that Glassberg range maps show occurring in area.
This one by Rich Hoyer-
Fine-lined Stripestreak, Arawacus sito p. 42 common
I've called it "Cosumel Golden Hairstreak" Photographed on Cozumel. Don't find this phenotype in Glassberg or internet search, so possibly a Cozumel form, subspecies or even endemic species. I have not yet searched Caribbean Island Hairstreaks.
