Busy Bee Farm is located in the Pine Barrens in Tabernacle, N.J. Pesticide free lavender, herbs, and native plants are the focal crops. The farm is also home to several beehives, and some are also located at other sites for educational purposes. As the Prices' home since 1996, the farm was created in 2006 with the addition of a greenhouse in 2007. Steve and Toni are members of the NJ Beekeepers Association and are charter members of the U.S. Lavender Growers Association. Busy Bee Farm is certified as a Bee Friendly Farm by Partners for Sustainable Pollination, and the Xerxes Society for Invertebrate Conservation has recognized the farm's official Pollinator Habitat area. Busy Bee Farm also continues to participate in the NJ Forest Stewardship Program. We are committed to these practices and are available for educational programs related to these topics.
Updates From the Farm

As Spring finally arrives we find ourselves preparing for our 11th season at the BCCAC Farmer's Market in Moorestown, and we can't wait to see everyone again! We are downsizing a bit and will be offering our honey at fewer locations, so we hope to see you at the Farmer's Market and other events listed below. We also will NOT have cut your own lavender or visits to our farm.
This season we hope to offer some really tasty infused Jalapeno Honey and Ginger Honey from plants we've grown ourselves, as well as our delicious Wildflower, Lavender, and Sage Honeys. Please be sure to check our Facebook page regularly for updates about product availability.

As you can tell from the lack of posts here, we've been really busy. Some sad losses occurred here over the winter. Ruckus, our beloved 14 year old cat, died in December, and Henry, our dear rooster, passed in January. We also lost one of our 15 year old Guinea hens. We now have 2 sweet shelter cat brothers, Mario and Luigi, who make us smile every day! Adopt don't shop is so worth it for all involved! And six adorable chicks are with us now, too. Most of our pet hens are 8-10 years old with the youngest at 4, and our Mr. Bon Jovi, our remaining rooster, is now 8 years old. Yes, it's like a chicken geriatric center, but they still give us some delicious eggs and are really sweet pets.
Once again, WE WILL NOT HAVE CUT YOUR OWN LAVENDER HERE OR VISITORS TO OUR FARM. We continue to experiment with new planting techniques and varieties, but it's unlikely that we'll be able to re-build our volume any time soon. Luckily we have enough lavender for our various products, and we will plant more herbs this year, too. We had a terrific honey season, and our newest flavor, sage honey, was a huge success and we hope to produce more of it this year. We're also offering some beautiful, new lavender and bee themed china products with tea towels that I know you'll enjoy as much as I do! (See updated photo galley)
Our season is already upon us and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
