Hello,
I have a passion for the automobile! After High School I attended Northern Montana College and studied Automotive and Diesel Technology. After graduation I worked in industry for about 8 years and also ran my own repair shop from home, Northwest Propane Conversions.
I returned to Northern Montana College and started working on my Masters. I switched occupations, and became an instructor at Dawson Community College in Glendive Montana. I became the Director of Automotive Technology and taught there for 14 years.
I left there to come to Western Montana to be closer to my aging parents. I also had a quarter mile go-kart track and family fun center in Polson Montana for 20 years. In 1999 I started teaching at Big Sky High School and at Sentinel High School, teaching Power Technology - better known as Small Engines. Over the last 16 years I have been teaching for Missoula County Public Schools. I have taught Power Technology, Metals, Welding, Cisco, Robotics, Automotive Technology, and am the Industrial Technology Department Head at Sentinel High School. In the fall of 2013 I will be one of the teachers that will teach in the New District - MCPS Automotive Technology Program.
I like to rebuild old cars and fixing the new ones. I also like to hunt and fish, camping and ride horses. I enjoy welding and carpentry. I enjoy building projects with my hands. I enjoying teaching and helping students find their Passion.
