Districts 2012

On February 7, at the Missouri DECA District 9 Conference, 46 KHS students competed against 600+ students from area schools to test their marketing knowledge and skills. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Students compete through interviews, role plays, presentations, and testing related to their selected content area. The following students earned the chance to represent Kirkwood DECA at the Missouri DECA State Career Development Conference on March 18-20, at Lodge of the 4 Seasons Resort at Lake of the Ozarks. There will be over 1,600 students from around the state competing for a coveted trip to the International Conference in Salt Lake City, UT in late April.
