Using the adjusted measurements from the initial measurement stage, cut the shorter and longer sides of the main box.
I used a table saw for this, which ensured parallel edges. A circular saw or jigsaw would work, but I'd advise using a straightedge.
The "pointy" sides are the wider and longer strips.
Long, wider sides:
Short, narrower sides (note that measurements correlate with previous measurements, not directly from the plans.)
Now, draw the "point" on the long sides.
IMPORTANT: you will want a bit of overlap with the short sides, because you will be making a beveled edge.
Cut the pointy part of the long sides. I used a circular saw. A jigsaw would work too.
It's important that the edges be perfectly straight, so the roof will form a watertight seal:
