Club typically meets at the Buchanan County Public Library at 6:00 p.m. - but many months we will have a birding trip planned that will replace the monthly meeting. Be sure to check the club calendar below for monthly meeting times.

May - Hidden Valley NWA Birding Trip. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at first parking area on the left near mountain top.
June - Birding the Cove in Tazewell County. Meet at the Park-and-ride near Appalachian Art Center at 8:00 a.m.
June - Breeding Bird Survey at Breaks Park - Meet at 8:00 a.m. at parking lot in front of Rhododendron Lodge
July - Bird Club Picnic at Keen Mountain Park at 6:00 p.m.
September - Warbler Day at the Mayhorn Home on Compton Mountain
September - Hawk Watch at Birch Knob Tower in Dickenson County
October - Sparrow Day at the Raines Home in Breaks Community
November - Birding Trip to New River at Hinton, West VA
December - Bird Club Christmas Party at 1:00 p.m. at Peking Restaurant at Grundy Plaza
December - Buchanan County Bird Club Christmas Bird Count
December - Breaks Christmas Bird Count
