This page is about the uniform that the troop wears and the different parts of it.
The Troop 202 class A uniform is very important in the troop. First, everyone is required to wear the troop hat and neckerchief. Then, you should wear the Boy Scout uniform with the troop patch and keep it updated with your current rank, patrol, and other patches. One of the biggest traditions in our troop is wearing shorts. A green pair works or the official Boy Scout shorts too. Another tradition in our troop is to keep your collar tucked in until you become an Eagle Scout where you can have your collar out spread like the wings of an eagle. Next, for a full class A uniform you need to have a Boy Scout belt. After that, for shoes and socks you can wear any Boy Scout socks and hiking boots for shoes. One smaller thing but still important is to have a pen on you whether it's in the pen pocket or if your uniform doesn't have that, in one of the regular uniform pockets. One last thing to have a full Class A uniform is to make sure you have all the updated patches such as rank patches on your uniform. This class A just described is used for meetings and going to and from campouts. There is also one more type of class A where scouts wear their sash. A sash is used to keep all your merit badges and other patches earned in scouting. You were a full class A with a sash at court of honors. This is what the Troop 202 class A uniform is.
The Troop 202 class B uniform is used a lot in the troop. Scouts wear Class B on campouts and outings. Class B is green shorts, troop hat, Boy Scout socks, hiking boots, and the troop Class B shirt. The Class B shirt should also be worn under your Class A when at meetings and going to outing so you can take off your class A when you are going to do something at an outing or campout. This is what the Troop 202 class B uniform is.
