Please see below for information on joining Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts of the USA.

Cub Scout Pack 1776

Cub Scouts is for boys ages 7-10 or grades 1-5. Den meetings are typically held twice a month at Colegio Nueva Granada (CNG). Meeting schedules may be changed to accommodate all participants. BSA/Cub Scouting is family-oriented, parent-led, volunteer organization. The required forms (found under downloads) to join are the BSA Health Form, Youth Application, and Adult Application. Please bring these completed forms to your first meeting. Please contact Marea Hawes for more information.

  • Lion - Kindergarten
  • Tiger - Grade 1
  • Wolf - Grade 2
  • Bear - Grade 3
  • Webelos - Grades 4 and 5

Troop 1776

Troop 1776 is for boys ages 11-17 (at least 10 years old and either finished the 5th grade or earned the Arrow of Light) under the ScoutsBSA program. The troop meets every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at a residence in Chico. The following items are needed to join:

Interested boys and parents are welcome to show for a meeting and attend a camp out with their parents. For more information, please contact our Scoutmaster Willy Rojas.

Adults interested in becoming Merit Badge Counselors will need to submit an Adult Application and a Merit Badge Counselor Form.

Girl Scouts

The Girl Scouting program is for girls ages 5-17 or Kindergarten through Grade 12. The Girl Scouts at CNG are part of USA Girl Scouts Overseas.

Daisies: Kindergarten and Grade 1 (ages 5-7)

Brownies: Grades 2 and 3 (ages 7-9)

Juniors: Grades 4 and 5 (ages 9-11)

Cadettes: Grades 6 to 8 (ages 11-14)

Seniors: Grades 9 and 10 (ages 14-16)

Ambassadors: Grades 11 and 12 (ages 16-18)
