Now tutoring virtually and in Courtenay, BC (I'M CURRENTLY NOT TAKING NEW STUDENTS)
Some students will stay up late the night before an exam studying for the exam. This can be a good short-term strategy when cramming for more memory-intensive subjects, but not for subjects like math and physics. Here are a couple of links on the connection between sleep and academic performance:
"getting more high-quality sleep is associated with better academic performance. The positive relationship is especially relevant to performance in math."

"Standardized test scores among sleep-reduced students were roughly 7 points lower than among students who got a full night sleep"
