Brandwein GSP's are cleared for all health issues known in the breed.
Brandwein GSP's have also been part of the study group (UPENN) that identified a gene marker test for lupoid dermatosis, and have been identified as not having the gene for the disease.

Skadhi (Brandwein Skir Brudhr Godha) is OFA-Hip good, OFA-Elbow normal, and OFA-cardiac normal.
Norna (CH Brandwein Drottning, CD, RN - CHIC# 65775) is cardiac clear (OFA CA873 by ECHO), hip structure good (OFA 13849G), normal eyes (CERF 2273), cone degeneration free by DNA test (CD417), lupoid dermatosis free by pedigree, and full color - no dilute gene present (DDT2885).
Hengist (CH Brandwein Konungr - CHIC#65777) is is cardiac clear (OFA CA1033 by ECHO), hip structure good (OFA 13713G), normal eyes (CERF 2272), cone degeneration free by DNA test (CD418), lupoid dermatosis free (UPENN LD390), and full color - no dilute gene present (DDT2884).
