Merit Badge FAQ

For our Troop to start a merit badge do the following steps:

• Get with Scoutmaster or Asst. Scoutmaster to get your BlueCard and initial signature .  Also need to get it setup in Scoutbook.  This step is required before seeking out a merit badge counceslor.  This step must be done by the Scout and not the Parent.  

• Work on your Merit Badge requirements with your Merit Badge Councilor. 

• Have Merit Badge Counselor sign off on requirements and sign Blue Card as completed

• Bring Blue Card back to Scoutmaster once completed to have signed off on

• Hand off Blue Card to Advancement Chair to get entered into Scoutbook

• Advancement Chair will hand back blue cards once they are entered

• Receive your Merit Badge at the next Troop Court of Honor.
