In 1969 I sent a query for this article to P. F. Kluge, a Peace Corps Volunteer who worked in Saipan and who started a quarterly publication called The Micronesian Reporter. He (Fred) sent me a roll of black and white film, I took the pictures, and sent it back, along with the completed story. He delayed publication until 1970, by which time he had found enough similar articles to make up an issue with a common theme. Kluge has since written several books, at least two of which are about Micronesia. He is currently Writer in Residence at Kenyon College.
