2017 Try-Out Information!

Try Outs are August 7th, 8th & 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 at Sunset Park.

If you did not attend this years camp or were not on a BHS soccer roster last year, please email cadwellclan@gmail.com (if you haven't already) so we know to expect you at try-outs!

The following paperwork (click on Sportswear link below) is required to tryout and participate in all Boise School District Athletics. If you have already entered your athlete into SportsWare, you just have to log in and resign the forms (parent signature!!!) and do the medical history. This must be done each year. If you have not entered your athlete in SportsWare, click on the Sportsware Parent Instructions PDF at the bottom before you begin. It has detailed information and will answer (hopefully all) your questions. It is a two step process when you first sign up. There is a wait period before you are emailed back and your SportsWare account is "approved." Do not panic, an email will come and then you can complete your paperwork, so it is best to get started on the process as soon as possible. Please note you will need a scanned copy of your insurance card to upload into SportsWare.

Also, all incoming 9th and 11th graders need a new physical. New students to the Boise Schools will need an updated physical as well. If you played at another school other than North or Hillside, you must contact those schools and have the Physical Forms forwarded to Boise High School, they do not automatically transfer. This form must be in Tracy Leinen's hands before try-outs Monday night. This can happen by giving it to Coach Darrow, Kirsten Cadwell or taking it to the Boise High Office.

Boise High School: Sports Physical

Practice begins on Thursday August 10th for both the JV and Varsity teams. All athletes who make a team need 10 practices before participating in their first game. Typically there are only 10 practices, including tryout sessions, before the first game, so it is imperative that athletes are at all tryout sessions and all practices to ensure they can be eligible of the first game and subsequent games. The first game this year is August 18th.
