VALLEY CENTER - Hughes, Matthew John, 30, COMCARE case worker, psychology major at Friends University, and KAKE TV/Discovery Channel storm chaser, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 E. 5th Street, Valley Center, KS. Visitation with family present will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 30, at Broadway Mortuary. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby D. Hughes, Charles and Virginia Thompson, and Basil Dundas; uncle, Mike Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Kendra Hughes; sons, Hunter and Collin Hughes of the home; father, Greg Hughes; mother, Cindy (Danny) Dundas; brother, Jade (Jacque) Dundas; sister, Kristen (Bo) Whelchel all of Valley Center; brother, Justin (Tara) Dundas of Wichita.
