Student of the Month

This section features selected articles for the month and awards the Student of the Month title to the candidate for their Scientific writing abilties.

We invite articles written by students and select the good one to share among others on our website and e-newsletter. The best article is published with your name and photograph with the student of the month title.

”Can you write an article”

We believe that information flow should always be in all directions, therefore, we would like to invite review articles from all our readers. If you feel you can write a review article you are free to send us the article about some new area of research work or about a topic which interests you.

The article can be from any area of biotechnology which could interest a large number of readers. Every article will be reviewed by either the board members ( if the area come under the expertise of the member) or will be send to the person with expertise in the area for review)

Instructions to the authors

About the author: we need some information about you in this section like what is your position or studying etc, if you are interested to have your picture along with your article, please send us a picture of you as TIFF or EPS etc,( size should be less than 250KB) with your name as file name. In case of multiple authors , each author picture should be separate picture with authors name as file name.

Submission : The article should be submitted electronically as attachment, the article should be send as attachment in Document form (*.doc) to the email biotechdhaba@gmail.com.

The subject should be with the short running title with authors name and year. e.g microbial enzymes-gopi-2010

Font should be Times new roman with a size of 12, the article should be maximum of 6 pages with line spacing of 1.5 between the words.

Figure should be of high picture quality preferably TIFF or EPS. Any figure used should cite the original figure source, unless prepared by you.

Only published manuscripts should be included in the reference list. We use numbered citation (citation-sequence) method. References are listed and numbered in the order that they appear in the text. In the text, citations should be indicated by the reference number in brackets as superscript. Multiple citations within a single set of brackets should be separated by commas. Where there are three or more sequential citations, they should be given as a range.

Example: "... has been shown previously [1,4-6,22]." Make sure the parts of the manuscript are in the correct order before ordering the citations.

All you then need is to send us an article composed by you with references, CV, Photograph, your contact details and designation in a word doc. at biotechdhaba@gmail.com.

We would examine them, make necessary corrections in them if any, forward it to our editorial team for the approval and finally publish them on our website.
