Using Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Information Management, Geographic Information Systems and related disciplines in smart cities and/or in research areas related to smart cities (e.g. geographic information systems, sensors, location-based services, mobile and ubiquitous computing, crowd sourcing, technology adoption by citizens). It is a large-scale international project involving Univ Nova Lisboa Portugal, Universitat Jaume I de Castelló (UJI) Spain and Westfälische Wilhelms - Universität Münster (WWMU) Germany plus city councils and industries, including managerial aspects, with programming in open source software and familiarity with the underlying licenses, methods and tools. This post doctoral position includes:

The management of the technical aspects of developing a large open-source framework;

Supporting doctoral researchers in developing their own research agenda;

Facilitating the collaboration of doctoral researchers groups in Germany, Spain, and Portugal, and
