Angry Birds

Angry Birds is a very popular physics-based puzzle video game published by Rovio Entertainment. The player controls a flock of multi-colored birds that try to knock down pigs by firing shots at them.

In 2009, Rod Humble, the CEO of Ngmoco, saw a Tamagotchi on an airplane and he wanted to make a better version of it. He came up with the idea of Angry Birds while working on his new company's first game. Humble pitched the idea to Niklas Hed, who was from Jaakko Iisalo’s company, which was later acquired by Ngmoco in 2009.

In 2010, Rovio released their first computer game called "Angry Birds." In 2011, they released two spinoffs: "Angry Birds
