I have been actively building a website since Oct. 2013 and I would like to tell you about it.
ComeToGod.org is a unique directory of Christian resources to be a witness for Jesus and to disciple people around the world. Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8
ComeToGod.org has links to 300 excellent Christian websites and is organized into one easy to use directory. The websites providing similar services are grouped together. The web pages are then placed in a logical order like a course syllabus. Helpful suggestions are also provided. The directory is intended to help those who are seeking God, students of the Bible, Christian workers, and also the average person. ComeToGod.org offers tutoring and helps so people know how to best use the resources.
Even though it is important to provide high quality resources for Christians, I think there is a much more important use for this website. There are 5 billion people in the world who do not yet know Christ. Most live in countries far away, have different languages, cultures and religions. Some are hostile to Christians and missionaries. That makes it them very difficult to reach. There is a serious lack of Christian influence and materials reaching out to those who do not know Christ. ComeToGod.org provides numerous reasons to believe in God, learn who the God of the Bible is, how to become a Christian, and materials on how to grow to maturity in Christ. Google will translate
ComeToGod.org into 60 languages. I am also actively attempting to reach them by providing special resources.
ComeToGod.org already has a tremendous amount of resources and is usable as is. It is still has a long way to go before it is at a professional level and ready for general release. I am sharing the link with friends, hoping they will have some time and interest in assisting me. There are lots of ways people can assist without having to know how to build a website. Please check back occasionally, since contents are still being added, and improvements are being made.
