ComeToGod.org is a directory of Christian resources to help Christians grow spiritually and reach those who do not yet know Christ with the Gospel. ComeToGod.org is a website that helps Christians and ministries work in unity to be witnesses of Jesus to the remotest part of the earth to make disciples of all nations. Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8 In the past 2,000 years various methods have been used to win people to Christ and make disciples. Praise God, many millions have come to Christ. Primarily, the methods used have been, person to person, books, radio, and TV. Census people say there are 7 billion people in the world, of which 2 billion are Christians. If we use their statistics, that means there are 5 billion people who do not know Jesus Christ as their savior, and have not been reached by current methods. There are not enough missionaries and resources to reach all of those people. Many millions live in countries hostile to Christians and missionaries, and have no Christian influence around them.

In recent years the internet has had a positive impact on evangelism. There are many wonderful Christian resources available on the internet and have helped people become Christians, grow as Christians, and spread the gospel. The internet can reach many people who can't easily be reached by other methods. Some people try to find God and answers to life on the internet. If people search for “God” and Christian issues on the internet they will probably find a few good websites, a few bad websites, and a lot of information that is irrelevant. Often it takes time and diligent searching to find the best websites, and sometimes they are difficult to evaluate for soundness of doctrine and accuracy. In many instances, unless people know exactly what website or topic to search for, and are highly motivated, they never find the resources that are available to help them.

It is my observation that most Christian websites serve a local population and are of little value to people around the world. There are at least hundreds of Christian websites that offer Christian resources that would be of great benefit to those around the world. The difficulty is finding them, separating the good from the bad, knowing what to do with them. Much time is lost in the search for resources or answers.

I have not been able to find a comprehensive one-stop website or representative voice of Christianity on the internet to help the 7 billion people around the world learn more about God and grow in the Christian faith.

Because of our great commission responsibility, Christians on the other hand should be concerned about the information that comes up on internet searches as to whether it is theologically correct and is effective in directing people to Christ. The Christian community should take responsibility to promote its own cause. We should take the initiative to choose the best Christian websites and then promote them so they get used more often. On the internet, there are a few directories of websites providing Christian resources that have attempted to do that. Most are not comprehensive, well known, or easily found. There doesn't seem to be a recognized authoritative directory that reviews websites and makes recommendations as to what are the best Christian resources. With a comprehensive directory, Christians can make known the best websites, and improve how searches are done to bring good information to those seeking it. With promotion, the directory will then come to the top of the Google searches and that will bring many more visitors to the best Christian websites listed in the directory. People will then get good answers, make good decisions, and mature in their Christian faith. It will be like taking a lamp from under a bushel basket and putting it on a lamp stand.

I felt God calling me to start building a directory of Christian resources website. I have been working on certain aspects of this website for several years and actively working on this since October 2013. Although I am not highly skilled in any of the areas necessary to build a high quality website, I thought I should work with what I had and start building one. I am thinking God will bring people into the picture to complete the website. I am hoping content, descriptions, function and appearance will greatly improve by interesting others more skilled than I am to help build it.

Here are a few features and commitments of ComeToGod.org.

• Is dedicated to providing a wide spectrum of Christian resources for people anywhere internet service is available to learn about Christ, accept Him as savior and bring them to maturity in Christ.

• This website is also dedicated to helping the 2 billion Christians to help them grow in their faith and equip them to serve Him.

• Is becoming a comprehensive directory of the best and most important resources available for Christians and will provide tutorials and helps.

• We will select and organize ministries’ website listings on our directory so they can easily be found and used.

• It is set up to lead a person without knowledge of God, to knowledge, faith, repentance, commitment, obedience, discipleship, and evangelism.

• It will provide most of the study resources a Christian of any level could need in their lifetime.

• It will provide many church planting resources.

• Each page is on a level of simple English to help those less fluent in English and those less educated.

Here are a few differences of ComeToGod.org from other Christian websites. Most Christian websites may offer one or several of these features, but I don't think one exists that offers all of the following Christian basics.

I don’t know of any other websites that are attempting to teach the wide range of subjects that this one does. Here is an opportunity to reach many millions of people with the gospel that are not currently reached and disciple those that are reached.
