Here's a newly drawn map of Camp Jamison. The light purple numbers are the campsites. I think that #6 is Kit Carson and #5 is Jim Bowie. Please send us information.
Map provided by R Gates
Camp Jamison was a "Jamboree style" camp, so the scouts cooked their own food supplied by the camp commissary. Before each meal, one scout from each patrol would hike to the commissary to pick-up the fresh food and return to the campsite for preparation. External pack frames with a clean plastic trash can attached was supplied for carrying the food stuffs, principal among these were numerous Nifda canned foods (like orange juice). The acronym means: National Institutional Food Distributors Association.

Rumor has it that Bud Malsbary, Field Scout Executive in the 1970's and 1980's, wanted to honor the first Scout Executive in Atlanta (A. A. Jameson), so he had the 1979 patches made with the name "Camp Jameson."
