Prof. Dang Ngoc Long, Vietnamese Concert Guitarist, Composer and Actor. 

  
Artistic head of the international

Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin

 

From 1985 to 1990 he completed studies at „Hanns Eisler“ music academy in Berlin. He graduated at Prof Inge Wilczok's class and holds a diploma as concert guitar-player.

From 1990 to 1991 he received a scholarship for concert studies.

From 1991 to 1993 he received a scholarship for concert master studies. He

attended master courses with Abel Calevaro, Martin Myslivecek, Monika

Rost as well as Alvaro Pierri.

Dang Ngoc Long received a special price at the international guitar

competition (Hungary, 1987) 


Apart from concerts in his native country Vietnam and in Germany he gave

concerts in Hungary, former Czechoslovakia, Italy, and Spain.

In addition he produced several music cassettes, CD's, music programmes

for radio and television in Vietnam, Germany, and other countries.

1991 he started to work as pedagogue at musical schools in Berlin and Bernau.

He composed many works for guitar solo, duo, trio, and quartet.


1994 he initiated for the first time the guitar competition for solo guitar in Bernau.

Dang Ngoc Long is initiator of the project as well as artistic head of the

international guitar festival in Berlin-Bernau.

2009 Dang Ngoc Long was awarded the title of a honorary professor of the

University of Kirgysia


Since 2004 he is director of the music school Berlin Gesundbrunnen.


From 2006 anwards Dang Ngoc Long is the artistic head of the international

Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin-Germany.


Since 2012 he is undergoing a Special Actors Coaching by Kristiane Kupfer

and worked in many movie productions under the name of "Long Dang-Ngoc"


Niklas Johansen is a classical guitarist born in 1989 in Denmark.

He has already received international acclaim after winning several international competitions and awards in China, Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Poland and Italy. As a soloist he has performed all over Europe, in Australia, Russia and big parts of China. He has performed with orchestras such as the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and ADDA Sinfónica Alicante.

Niklas Johansen started playing guitar at the age of 9, and began his studies in 2009 at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under Jesper Sivebæk. After finishing his bachelor exam attending the highest grade possible he went to Alicante in 2013 and finished a Master in Classical Guitar Performance with professors David Russell, Manuel Barrueco and others. After finishing his final exam achieving the highest possible he received the Latin honor “cum laude”. In 2014 he went one year abroad and studied a year with Ricardo Gallén at the Hochschule Für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. In 2015 he played his Master’s Recital in Denmark receiving the highest grade and since then he has been doing postgraduate degrees with Jesper Sivebæk in Denmark and Ricardo Gallén in Weimar. Besides his studies he has received several lessons with high-profiled guitarists such as Marcin Dylla, Alvaro Pierri, Pavel Steidl, Scott Tennant, Ana Vidovic, Judicael Perroy, Aniello Desiderio and Zoran Dukic.

Yaroslav Makarich

(Belarus)


1. prize in the International Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin 2020

Makarich- is a classical guitar-player from Belarus. He was born on January 26, 1995. Yaroslav has graduated from Minsk State Music College of Glinka and Belarusian State Academy of music. 

He is the winner of several republic and international competitions such as:

 ⁃ “Olimpo Musicale” - 

1 prize (Kaunas, Lithuania), 2008.

 ⁃  “Guitar virtuosos” - 

2 prize (St. Petersburg, Russia), 2010.

 ⁃ Finalist of national selection “Eurovision - 2010”.

 ⁃ “Talents of Belarus” - 

Grand Prix (Gomel, Belarus), 2013.

 ⁃ International Guitar Competition and Festival - 

2 prize (Berlin, Germany), 2014.

 ⁃ International competition “Guitar Renaissance” - Grand Prix (Belarus), 2015.

 ⁃ International Competition of guitar-players in Kharkov - 1 prize (Ukraine), 2019.


 ⁃ International Guitar Competition and Festival - 

1 prize (Berlin, Germany) 2020.


Besides Yaroslav has received several lessons with well-known guitarists such as: 

Aniello Desiderio, Carlo Marchione, Marcin Dylla, Margarita Escarpa, Dang Ngoc Long, Emil Petrov, Ivo Kaltchev, Rene Izquierdo.
