Below is a list of students I work with. For PhD students, people involved in the project (as advisors or co-advisors) are noted as well. In France, research master students typically do a 5-6 months full-time internship in labs.
Guillaume Lods (since Oct 2021): novel control and planning algorithms for continuum robots. Collaboration with Florent Nageotte and Bernard Bayle. (MACROS project)
No master students at the moment
Azad Artinian (since April 2024): continuum robot design optimization. Collaboration with Mohammed Taha Chikhaoui from TIMC-IMAG in Grenoble (CAMI Labex funding).
Fernando Gonzalez Herrera (February 2020 - September 2024): task anticipation for coordinated control of multi-arm continuum robots. Collaboration with Florent Nageotte and Michel de Mathelin (Strasbourg), and with Gianni Borghesan and Joris de Schutter at KU Leuven (ATLAS project)
Sestini Luca (Dec 2019 - June 2023): Deep learning methods for tool-tissue interaction identification in endoscopy. Collaboration with Nicolas Padoy in Strasbourg, and with Elena de Momi at Politecnico di Milano (ATLAS project). Now creating a startup. Best PhD award from University of Strasbourg
Matthias Tummers (Oct 2019 - April 2023): design of novel continuum robot architecures. Collaboration with Jocelyne Troccaz and Mohammed Taha Chikhaoui from TIMC-IMAG in Grenoble (CAMI Labex). Now assistant professor at INP Grenoble. 2nd prize for the Best French Robotics PhD in 2023.
