This exciting new role is an opportunity to engage with workplaces and their employees as well as residential communities to develop a culture of sustainable travel behaviour primarily by integrating cycling into the daily commute. This will include identifying the main barriers to commuting by bike and developing a number of programmes and campaigns to overcome these.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, or with relevant experience, you will have experience of delivering sustainable behaviour change and / or employee engagement projects, experience of organising and promoting events, experience of designing and delivering training sessions and of working with a range of organisations. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to develop productive working relationships, be very enthusiastic about the role and have the ability to motivate others. IT literacy and an understanding of the health benefits of active travel is also essential as is your commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport.
