The New Community Pavilion

Community Pavilion Date Stone Laid

A small ceremony took place on 19 January, when the '2018' date stone was formally laid above the front door of the new pavilion.

Roger Carter said "The previous wooden pavilion on this site, had stood the test of time for 100 years, and this new one will last even longer. However, we must remember that this building would not be here today, if was not for the tireless work of John Morris, who sadly, had recently died."

The spectators were allowed to view the work in progress, and admire the excellent views from the balcony, which overlooks all four sporting areas.
