I didn't know it at the time I took this picture, but these two passenger cars were on their way to the Minnesota Transportation Museum which I visited the next day. The museum host told me they had recently concluded negotiations to acquire the cars, and had just been told that they had arrived at the Northtown yard. I was tickled to be able to tell him that they had indeed arrived and that I had taken a picture of them. They originally ran on the Great Northern route and were sold to a commuter rail system in New Jersey. I hope to return to the museum some day soon and see them up close!
