Beach Cottages Owners: 

The Board wants to remind all owners that if you are planning major renovations such as kitchen or bathroom updates, re-piping, etc. it is necessary to obtain advance approval through Island Management using the Architectural Change Process (ARP), Application For Approval. The process is simple and efficient and must be arranged through Island Management.

It is important that the Association ensure that any changes that are made are accomplished in accordance with our Bylaws and that nothing is done that could affect load-bearing walls or change the outside appearance of the buildings, etc. All Contractors MUST be properly licensed and have appropriate Workers Comp and Liability Insurance. 

In consideration to your neighbors it would be helpful if you could schedule work in the slow occupancy periods, or at least provide as much notice as possible.
