The Berrenda Rd is impassable from Ted and Heidi's place and continuing East.
Lots of boulders, ruts and washouts from Juh Trl continuing East. We noticed the cement block (low water crossing?) on the right side of the road when heading East between Juh Trail and Ted and Heidi's place has fallen over from dirt erosion.
The road is too narrow in places from washouts/erosions and boulders on the road for vehicles to pass.
The cement slabs that the County put in place have floated
1. One slab is broken at the expansion seam and is under dirt and water
2. One slab sits like a pedestal - airborne above the ground because all the dirt has washed out underneath it.
3. Another set of slabs floated and are stacked on top of the pedestal slabs like wafers. Still too much water and mud to go around it.
Berrenda Creek:
We walked it and crossed it on quads. Appears some of the deeper holes from the previous rain have filled in. The water is mid-wheel on the quads. Should be an easy cross in another day.
Horse Thief Pass:
A couple of heavy trucks on the pass left some very deep, mushy ruts with no traction. (A kid's dream!). Several areas like this. From Nachee Trl to Shufelt's road is not bad but the E-ride ticket for vehicles starts again once you are on top of the hill. Deep ruts, no traction, mushy sloppy mud. Should be much better in another day if we don't get more rain.
