Ramadan is a time when Muslims around the world partake in fasting for a month. They don't eat from sunrise to sunset, yes that also includes no drinking water. Every year Ramadan starts at a different time, depending on the cycle of the moon. This year Ramadan is expected to start on Wedensday the 18th. Here are some informative videos on what Ramadan is:

The Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the new year based on the lunar calendar and is celebrated by many cultures around the world, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and other Asian communities. 2026 is the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, strength and perseverance. Typically, families have a reunion dinner on the eve of the Lunar New Year (today), a big feast on the first day (tomorrow) as well as the second day. Wishing all members of our school community celebrating, a very happy and prosperous Year of the Horse!
