Basketball
Registrations are open for the Balmoral School basketball teams for Term 1. Games are played on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at Auckland Grammar School. We enter mixed boys/girls, year 7/8 teams. We have 2 competitive teams and the rest are social teams where you can choose to play with friends. Please get your parent to go to the school website and register you to play. Trials for the competitive teams are after school on Tuesday 10th February and Monday 16th February. All players that want to trial must be registered to be able to attend. Everyone who wants to play is placed in a team.
Primary Notices:
Basketball
Registrations are open for the Year 5 & 6 Balmoral School basketball teams for Term 1. Games are played on Tuesday evenings at Auckland Grammar School. Please get your parent to go to the school website and register you to play. They can select friend groups to play together on the registration form. Everyone who wants to play is placed in a team.
Flippaball
Each term Balmoral School enters teams into the Atlantis Flippaball League. This is open to all Year 4-6 students.
Flippaball is a fun modified waterpolo game where you can stand on the bottom of the pool. The only pre-requisite is that each player must be able to swim 25m of the pool unaided. Games are played on Sundays and there is no separate training.
If you are interested please get your parent to register you on the school website by the end of Wednesday as games start this Sunday. On the form you can select what friends you want in your team. Everyone who wants to play is placed in a team.
