DASHA SUSHKO

Owner, Professional Ballroom Dancer, Certified Teacher, Certified Championship Adjudicator, Certified WDC & World Dance Adjudicator

Dasha Sushko began her career at the age of six in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. She has become the finalist, semifinalist and quarter-finalist in numerous Regional and National level Championships in Russia. Also Dasha became the five-time champion in Russia in three different programs - "Standard", "Latina" and "Ten Dances" among Juniors. Later on she and her dance partner Alexey were among 10 best couples of Russia in National Championships. After moving to the United States in 2005, she participated in numerous Professional National and International competitions and achieved outstanding results with her dance partner Vladimir Popov. She was a finalist of 2008 United States National Professional Rising Star International Standard Championship.

After 2009, Dasha decided to continue her career as a Professional Teacher of Ballroom Dance. Early in 2011, she opened her very own Dance studio "Ballroom Dream" where she strives to teach, motivate, and inspire her students.

Being Certified as National and World Class Adjudicator, Dasha judges various prestige Ballroom competitions across the country.

Dasha is an outstanding Coach, Dance Teacher and Choreographer. She is a member of Wold Dance Council, National Dance Council of America, Professional Dancers Association and US Terpsichore

She is currently coaching students of Olympic and World Champion in Ice Dancing Evgeny Platov.
