Dear Dancers, Students, Parents!

Wow, what an eventful October we had! We thought Hurricane Irene was bad, but snow in October?!?

October Recap:

• We had our first Workshop with World Champions: Paul Richardson and Olga Rodionova. Our Guest teachers were amazing, and kids had many laughs, as well as learned a lot about technique.

• We had a very exciting Halloween Party for Adults

• An equally exciting Halloween Party for Kids, where there were so many great costumes it was very hard to choose the winner!

• We had another Salsa and Latin Social Party

• We participated in a few fund-raising events:

  • Performance at The 7th Annual Russian and Slavic Cultural Festival

  • Ballroom Dance Group: In case you have not been aware, we have a big presence in a new facebook group which we recommend joining for anyone interested in Ballroom Dancing. This group is intended to be an open and friendly forum for all Ballroom Dancers and their parents. We have many topics being discussed, from difference in education between Russia and US, where to find shoes, tailors, costumes to ways you can improve your or your child's dancing, and a recent discussion about costumes/syllabus restrictions on USA Dance and NDCA competitions.The group is getting popular and we have many competition-organizers, judges, coaches as well as studios. http://www.facebook.com/groups/160158124071577/
